Great presentation!
Cynthia,
Thanks for an excellent presentation and especially for having all of those resources available in a handy handout. Being a bit older, I must admit I have never heard of 95% of the sites you listed. But as I intend to work in academic libraries for a while yet, I am trying to keep up!
Remembering the sites
Hi,
I found the presentation enjoyable, but one concern I have: how is a person (e.g., me) going to remember the many sites mentioned, when perhaps several months down the road the person might find occasion when one of those that you mention could be of value. If instead of relying on fallible memory I tried to bookmark everything, all of those bookmarks would become unmanageable. It seems that a person would almost have to make a library of such sites with searchable subject headings and keywords, which could prove to be a great investment of time.
Handout
You're very welcome Joe! I have uploaded an electronic version of the handout. Thanks, and come see me present at ALA and MLA, if you are attending.

Do you have that in electronic format?
Cynthia, I was the guy who came in late and stood in the back of the room while you dished up an energetic, funny, and insightful overview of little-known web 2.0 tools. If you have a file containing the links discussed, I would love to be able to pass it along to a young reference librarian who would probably make very good use of it.
I thought that I knew most of the tools out there, but disabused me of that conceit five minutes into your presentation. I learned a lot. Thanks for a lively and informative session.
