Developing a Culture of Assessment in Tight Times
What does it really mean to have a culture of assessment? How do we make it work when we have fewer staff and no money to spare?
Carol Mollman, Assessment Coordinator at Washington University in St. Louis will talk about the evolution of assessment in the Washington University Libraries, how it has mobilized changes in both staff decision-making and attitudes toward users. Included in the presentation will be a look at the biggest roadblocks and opportunities for assessment that have come out of the economic downturn, and some ideas for doing ‘more with less’ library resources.
