Ok, maybe this wasn't *the* coolest thing ever to be, but it's certainly the thing that I've been asked about the most during and since the conference: "Justin, will Donna's presentation be available on the conference website?" Answer: "Yes."

Announcing Conference Location: Columbia, MO!

We are pleased to announce that the hotel for the 2010 MOBIUS Annual Conference has been awarded to the Holiday Inn Executive Center in Columbia, MO next to the Columbia Mall. This year’s conference will be held on June 15, 16, and 17.

The MOBIUS Annual Conference Planning Advisory Committee and MCO are close to finalizing a schedule of sessions and events for our conference. MACPAC had great response for session submittals this year which is going to make this one of our best conferences.

Keynote Speaker for 2010 MOBIUS Annual Conference

The MOBIUS Consortium, the Executive Committee, and members of MOBIUS Annual Conference Planning and Advisory Committee are pleased to announce Marshall Breeding as the keynote speaker for the 2010 MOBIUS Annual Conference.

Marshall Breeding serves as the Director for Innovative Technologies and Research for the Vanderbilt University Libraries in Nashville, TN. He is part of the management team of the Library, focusing issues related to the strategic use of technology in the library. He designs and develops digital library resources and investigates emerging technologies. Marshall is also the Executive Director the Vanderbilt Television News Archive, a large-scale archive of digital video content.

Proposal Submission Deadline Has Passed

Yes, it's true. We are no longer accepting proposals for the MOBIUS 2010 conference. Hopefully you were able to get yours in on time, but if not - hang onto your idea for next year!

This years conference is shaping up to be an absolutely incredible opportunity to learn from and connect with your peers in the consortium. There are so many interesting sessions - it's going to be so hard to choose!

Because of the holidays, we decided to extend the deadline for session submission by 3 weeks or so. You may now submit your session ideas until January 21st.

New conference website

Welcome to the new MOBIUS Annual Conference website. This year marks the first year of our new ongoing practice to develop an entirely new website for each years conference.

I've got some really great features that I'll be rolling out as time goes on. Stay Tuned!
