Information
The MOBIUS Annual Conference is a chance for MOBIUS members to come together once a year and swap ideas, network, and receive training. The conference is free for employees of Missouri libraries, and _cheap_ for those coming from outside the state.
We want you to benefit professionally from the conference, but also have lots of fun so follow the links at the bottom of this page (and subsequent pages) to make sure you have the info to make the most of your trip!
h3. Keynote
This years keynote address will be given by Marshall Breeding. Read our news post or you can read about his speech.
h3. Sessions and Topics
Current plans are to have six tracks with 2 extra rooms on the side for community gatherings (BoFs). Large rooms each hold over 100 people, while small rooms hold more than 25 attendees with laptops.
All of our sessions are sent in from volunteers (it's still volunteering if we ask you). Do you have a session you'd like to present?
*After we determine exactly which sessions will be presented you will have the opportunity to add sessions to your personal schedule!*
Setting up your schedule is super important for two reasons:
# So we can schedule the presentations in the "right-size" room.
# Secondly, and possibly cooler, we are going to be giving you a live iCal view - that means you won't miss anything - you can walk around the conference and always have YOUR schedule up-to-date on your mobile phone or laptop.
Really, that means any changes during conference will be instantly available. Is that cool, or what?
