This site is "powered" by Drupal, a totally awesome open-source content management system. I use Drupal for probably 85%+ of my web projects because it's flexible, secure, and has a *great* community.
Like I said above, this site does use Drupal to turn the wheels - but not just any Drupal... For the 2009 DrupalCamp LA This By Them produced a fantastically feature filled site for them. As if that wasn't enough - they gave it back to the community to use.
Without the great release of this pre-made ready to style Drupal install, this site would have taken me *much* longer to create and wouldn't have been nearly as polished. So that's a WIN for us all.

Because the Camp theme from This By Them doesn't include any styles (and because I'm one hell of a non-artist) I needed some ideas for the visual styles. Before I found the Camp install, I had selected the AD Novus theme at drupal.org. I ended up taking many of the images, colors, and other styles from AD Novus and applying them to the blank Camp theme.
The reason thanks goes to Avioso Designs is that they were responsible for porting the design to Drupal. Also, the original Novus concept was created by the folks at RocketTheme for Joomla!
